Help the Hubby Heave His Weight

My wife just called me fat. Lol, yeah, she said it straight up to my face. It probably didn’t help that I had a box on Twinkies sitting on my desk. Ok, I admit it; I have let myself go a bit. I am probably about 30 pounds over my ideal weight. It isn’t as bad as some people, but it is more than I have had up till this point. I actually used to do quite a bit of weight lifting, and I still have a decent amount of that muscle. I would rather not go back to a gym until I had lost some of my weight. I would prefer to show up looking like I am there to gain muscle instead of being there to lose the extra fat. I am considering either P90X Workout or Insanity Workout. Has anyone here tried it?

I have, and I personally love it! I was already in “decent” shape when I began it, so weight loss was not my primary concern. I have seen quite a few people who lost a LOT of weight from using P90X. I personally do not see how they did it because I felt like I was dying by the end of the workouts. After a couple of weeks, I seemed to be adjusting…kind of. It was difficult all the way through, but I felt like I had more and more energy. Initially, I couldn’t complete a workout. However, I didn’t give up, and eventually I could. If I hadn’t seen the success stories on the internet then I would tell you that you should start with P90….Now, I believe that most people can. You just have to keep giving your all, and your limits will keep growing. As a side benefit, your weight will melt faster than a popsicle….not really, but it will be fast!
